Designed

Just For You

This session starts with a review of your current challenges, body posture / alignment, injuries, past recovery work results and goals to program the apt approach for your recovery and therapeutic needs for that individual session that is not limited by a specific modality or equipment.

This creates a custom approach, with longer lasting results, while saving time on repeat visits for various services.

There is no one-size-fits-all with a FLEX session.

Core Modalities

Frederick Stretch Therapy

(Formally known as Fascial Stretch Therapy) Passive stretching with traction and repairing of the connective tissue (fascia) between your muscles and other structural landmarks throughout the body.

This approach helps your body to heal properly from injuries both short-term and chronic and can restore range of motion with minimal to no pain.
Comfortable, yet tight straps are utilized to secure the opposite limb to the table, allowing for deeper and more meaningful stretch capability and keeping your muscles in a passive state.

This modality is used first in the session promoting a deeper, more long lasting massage as expanding fascia allows greater access to underlying muscles, joints and tendons.

Deep Tissue / Sports Massage

Deep Tissue work uses deeper pressure, is slower paced for more mindful “sensing” of underlying issues and typically will use slightly more lubricant for smoother glide.

Sports Massage work is generally more focused on addressing specific issues and groups of muscles that you frequently use in your daily life or given sport / active lifestyle interest.

While still a deeper pressure, the movement is more dynamic and fast paced, lubricant is gel based allowing for more resistance / friction that will “warm up” the tissue more and allow for better grip.
